Andrew's workshops are a balanced blend of asana work and philosophy. In these classes we will explore the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in an eclectic way. The goal will be to refine our practices and to make them healing, pain free and beautiful. We will look closely at the alignment and physiology of the postures and discuss numerous approaches with the intention to help each person find the specific methods that are most helpful for them. These classes will also go deeply into Vinyasa technique and what this approach to yoga
consists of. We also will explore methods by which the practice can be modified to accommodate our individual needs without losing touch
with the fundamental principals that are at the core of the Ashtanga Vinyasa approach. Advanced Vinyasa techniques will be taught to the students who are ready for them. Andrew will discuss yoga philosophy and hold an open discussion about the changes the practice can bring into our lives. Students and teachers from all backgrounds are welcome to attend. Andrew's teaching style is kind, playful and light hearted, but at the same time addresses the deepest issues which confront yoga practitioners, and reflects a view of the practice which has taken over 20 years to develop.
