All classes at Yoga Nine are taught by certified, highly trained
professionals. All classes stress proper alignment and hands-on
instruction to ensure that your practice is safe, effective and
enjoyable. The curriculum focuses health and wellness, balance
and improving the quality of life; whatever stage that may be.
Guided relaxation is part of every practice. (All classes
ongoing and are 75
minutes unless otherwise noted). |

Yoga 101
- 5 week course for
REAL BEGINNERS. Learn the basic postures, breathing
techniques and props to use for a safe practice that fits your needs. Graduates are
ready for Gentle Yoga, Yoga Technique or (Vinyasa) Yoga Flow
classes. Unlimited classes are available to students over the 5-week session. Students
combine "Gentle"/"Yoga Technique" classes with YOGA
101 instructional classes. Comes with $60.00 "green"
latex & Jute mat.

Yoga Technique: (beginner
friendly) Focusing on
improving technique in foundation postures, breathing and core
strength, this class is accessible to all skill levels and ages.
The goal is advancement at any level.

Gentle Yoga (beginner friendly)
- Focusing on stretching,
balancing and basic postures, this class is accessible to all
skill levels and ages. Uses props to gain
maximum benefit from your postures. Relax.
Rejuvenate. Renew!Emphasis is on enhancing WELLBEING.

All Levels Yoga (advanced
beginners)-
A bit more challenging than gentle yoga, this class
offers students the opportunity to try deeper variations.
Incorporates some basic flow & intermediate postures.

Yoga Flow (Plus) (advanced
beginner- intermediate) Get
into the flow with Vinyasa yoga, tying postures together with
breath and movement. Advanced beginning to intermediate
energetic sequencing links postures to build core strength and
aerobic fitness (75 or 90 minute (Plus) classes)

Yoga Happy Hour
(advanced beginner-
intermediate) Yoga Flow class
with HIP MUSIC and an upbeat pace. Start your weekend off happy.
Challenging & Fun.

Advanced Vinyasa Yoga (Intermediate-advanced)
Focusing on deepening
intermediate practice with inversion, arm balancing &
binding, this class challenges students with rigorous sequencing
aimed at building internal heat (angi), core strength and
enhanced breathwork.

Exhale.../Restorative
Yoga (beginner friendly) Preparing
the body and mind for focus on and continuing attention to
breath, restoration and relaxation, this class blends
restorative Yin Yoga postures, supported Pranayama (breathwork),
and guided relaxation in Savasana (corpse pose). Important for
all practitioners and a great introduction to a deeper
meditation practice.(75 Minutes).

Inversion
Immersion-
(advanced beginner-advanced) Workshop
style class held every other Monday teaching students at all
stages of practice to safely learn inversions (headstand,
handstand, arm balancing, shoulderstand & Lifts). All
levels, all abilities, all are welcome. ALTERNATE MONDAYS

Guided
Meditation/Pranayama:
(beginner
friendly) Promoting
softening & reflection, this class explores a variety of
breathing & focusing techniques in the practice of mindful
meditation & Insight meditation. Instructor guides students through a series of movements, breathing techniques and
visualization to facilitate the practice of meditation.30
minutes -SUNDAYS ($5.00 donation)/60 minutes (regular class cost).

Teen Yoga (beginner friendly) For
teens only! 5-Week session for teens. Learn basic yoga postures,
breathing and diet for a healthy, fitness and confidence. 16
Year olds are permitted in all our classes without an adult.
Parents signature is required, but this class is just for you
guys! Ages 13-17
|
Before & After Baby (Prenatal
Yoga) - Ongoing yoga sequence to safely help keep you fit, happy and healthy before and after
pregnancy! Physicians release required. Enjoy the benefits
yoga brings to your pregnancy (1 hour).

Tai Chi:
(beginner friendly)
A Chinese
system of physical exercises designed for self-defense and
meditation. Moving energy (chi) throughout the body. This gentle
discipline in a healing (Qi Gong) and healthful practice. Wu
style taught by master teachers (1 hour).

Mat Pilates
(beginner
friendly) Developed by Joseph
Pilates as a total “Mind Body” system to bring the
individual into a balanced state of health. Exercises will
increase strength, flexibility, and yield an overall sense of
vitality and well-being. (1 hour)

Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) - (beginner
friendly) It's Health, Fitness & Massage rolled into one! Yamuna Body Rolling-tm is a revolutionary approach to health and fitness using balls designed exclusively for this practice. It consists of a series of routines using 6 to 10-inch balls. Unlike other ball exercises, YBR goes far beyond random movement and stretch. It allows you to work specific muscles in detail, to create suppleness in tight areas and optimize range of motion. (90 minutes)
