INDIVIDUAL THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
Connective Tissue & Deep Tissue Massage
   Deep release of the musculature of the body for either acute or chronic pain. CTM is an ideal way to help relieve the painful symptoms of a number of chronic conditions including sciatica, low back pain, headaches, scoliosis or the rigors of a physically demanding lifestyle. CTM is also and valuable adjunctive therapy for fibromyalgia, arthritis and other disorders affecting the musculo-skeletal system.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy
   Cranio-sacral therapy manually applies a subtle movement of the spinal and cranial bones in an attempt to bring the central nervous system into harmony. This therapy involves assessing and addressing the movement of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which can be restricted by trauma to the body, such as through falls, accidents, and general nervous tension. By gently working with the spine, the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, and fascia, the restrictions of nerve passages are said to be eased, the movement of CSF through the spinal cord can be optimized, and misaligned bones are said to be restored to their proper position. This therapy is said to be particularly useful for mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ Syndrome, and for chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.

   Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
