Balancing Inversions Demystified:
Hands are the new Feet
Life is a constant act of balancing from the placement of your body as you step forward, or the diffusion of water across a cell membrane, to the balancing of your checkbook, or the eating of a balanced diet. All things come into harmony when they are balanced.
This workshop focuses on joyously finding structural balance in the upside down body. We will start by examining ourselves right side up, taking note of how the body adapts to maintain balance and stay in harmony with gravity, and is at ease as it moves. We will then use our new insights, increased proprioceptive sensitivity, bone stacking principles, fine-tuned inner strength, old school acrobatic and circus technique, and support from each other as well as the wall to empower the whole room to balance, play, and find ease upside down.

AcroYoga Fundamentals:
Partner Basics, Flying, and Thai Massage
Open your practice with grace and ease, as you collaborate with partners elevating your yoga experience to new levels. This workshop includes: Circle Ceremony, Mirrored Asana, Partner Yoga Flow, Flying Sequences and Thai Massage. Exchanging roles as flyer and base increases the capacity to trust, communicate, give, and receive. The flyer receives spinal and a muscular release while the base is grounded and strengthened. Rooted in the breath, we will draw upon the natural forces of gravity to encourage the body to let go of fear and tension.
AcroYoga blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form the foundation of a unique new practice that cultivates trust, connection, and playfulness.
